MIG Welding

Robotic MIG welding : one can perform a variety of weld types on several different metals. The filler rod is important aspect of ARC welding.

Usually made from the same material as the base metal, it is used for reinforcing joints and welding heavy metals. ARC welding is one of several fusion processes for joining metals.Welding controller apply intense heat to metal at a joint between two parts so that the parts melt and intermix.

Spot Welding

Robotic SPOT welding: The process is used for joining sheet materials and uses shaped copper alloy electrodes to apply pressure and convey the electrical current through the work pieces.

In all forms of resistance welding, the parts are locally heated. The material between the electrodes yields and is squeezed together.

It then melts, destroying the interface between the parts. The current is switched off and the "nugget" of molten materials solidifies forming the joint.

Plasma Welding

Robotic Plasma Welding : Plasma Arc Welding (PAW) constricts the ionized gas through the copper nozzle.

This constriction produces higher temperatures and velocities, creating a smaller cross-section of the weld. Plasma welding commonly uses the same non-consumable tungsten, just like in TIG welding.

It separates the arc from the shielding gas envelope by using the body of the torch for electrode placement. It allows more flexibility with easy adjustments to the velocity and temperatures at which the weld is formed. VERTEX offered welding Torch Selection, System Design & Engineering.

Laser welding

Robotic Laser Welding : A robotic laser welding system consists of a servo-controlled, multi-axis mechanical arm, with a laser cutting head mounted to the wrist of Robot.

The nozzle head has focusing optics for the laser light and an integral height control mechanism. An assist gas delivery package distributes a gas, such as oxygen or nitrogen, to the welding head. Most systems use a laser generator that delivers the laser light to the robot cutting head through a fibre-optic cable.
